Launched in november 2016, this is the FIFTH book of the Literary Collection – Traditions of Minas, which provides a total of 12 books designed to enhance the culture of the people of Minas Gerais represented by important cultural symbols of Minas Gerais. Through the work of historical survey records of witnesses and meeting of iconographic images as well as photographs.

The FIFTH book of the collection aims to document the history of cachaça in the culture of Minas Gerais and of people who somehow have some direct or indirect involvement with the production of cachaça.
